3OH!3 – November Tour

3OH!3 (AKA Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte) are set to release ‘Starstrukk’ on December 14 through Photo Finish / Asylum Records – the track has already sold a jaw-dropping 600 000 copies in the US, and is yet to go to radio.  It’s the second single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Want’.  Having sold out their very first UK headline show at London’s Islington Academy on September 3, the band have announced a tour of the UK which kicks off in Cardiff on November 2.

‘Starstrukk’ (a remix of the original album version) features a guest appearance from their friend Katy Perry who invited the band to be support on her UK and European tour dates earlier this year.  The track follows the release of ‘Don’t Trust Me’ – a number 1 airplay record in the US which has so far sold over 2.2 million copies.

Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte – two natives of Boulder, Colorado who have been packing clubs and liberating libidos with their trademark blend of dirty synths and even dirtier come-ons.  On ‘Want’ these homeboys crumble their crackers into a stew of hip-hop hardness, electro and 80s pop pabulum.

Their infectious electro beats have so far seen them shift over 3.4 million tracks, clock up over 200 mill myspace plays, and they’re fast approaching over half a million album sales in the US.  They’ve also picked up a nomination for Best New Artist at 2009’s prestigious MTV VMA Awards.

Be sure to see what all the fuss is about when they hit UK shores in November.
