Android Market – It’s on.
With the release of version 1.3 only a day ago, we decided that it was time we added Mewbox to the Android Market. The initial reason for holding back on this step was that we wanted to get the application out and about for a bit of public testing. I felt a little more explanation was in order.
Everyone makes mistakes, we are only human and we anticipated just that. Releasing Mewbox as a download only was an important part of our testing, we simply wanted to weed out any errors or brick walls that we missed in our testing that only extensive use, in different regions on different devices could provide. Vanilla has had a solid 4 weeks in the public domain now, while the Archos Release has been in circulation for close to three months.
The feedback collated from all of you about what was wrong with our application has proved extremely helpful and we’ve been able to plug that feedback directly back into our development team to ensure this latest release is ready to go. Everything going forward should be easier to fix/change on our side and we’ll be making some huge improvements to current functionality and adding some exciting new stuff on your side.
Thanks to everyone for their support over the last few weeks, now that we are available on the market, we’ll be hoping the feedback comes in thicker and faster from even more people. We want this to be your music service, not ours. So tell us what you think/want/need and we’ll make it happen. (as quickly as developly possible)… developly…. that’s not a word is it? It’s like ‘humanly’ but for developers, I’d guess
Get your copy of Mewbox from the Android Market now. Enjoy.
