Mewbox / Archos Press Release London

On Tuesday the 15th of September ‘09, Archos released it’s new range of Tablet PC’s which a focus on the Archos 5 Internet Tablet. Tony, from Archos invited us to join him as he took us through the plans Archos had for both the present and the future.

The night wasn’t only about Archos though. We had the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the press and announce the birth of Mewbox to the world for the first time. Neil, our MD, was invited to speak breifly to the press as well as show them the first releases of the project we’d been working tirelessly on. As far as we could tell, it was very well recieved.

After the formality of the speeches, we had a drink or two and took whoever was interested through a very early version of the application.  While we knew there were a few small problems with the app as we presented it, we also new that people were getting excited, they were keen to see what Androids answer to iTunes was, even with our early demo, the feedback was positive, the advice was invaluable and naturally, our heads were rather sore the following day.

Mewbox would just like to extend a quick Thank you to those who managed to speak with us on the night. We’d also like to thank anyone who offered constructive feedback. We can promise that your advice has not gone unnoticed and  in fact, most of your comments are implemented in the demo we have now, which you’ll have a chance to see sometime in the next week.
