Lunar Youth – Debut – 23rd November
Lunar Youth’s ‘driving, sheen rock sound’ to use singer Simon Berlin’s characteristic turn of phrase has a certain something about it, hopefully for them, they set to capture legions of adoring fans.
Lunar Youth release their debut single Misfits on London’s Young and Lost Club Records on November 23rd. Misfits is an irreverent portrayal of urban dropouts, living for nightlife, defined by echoing synths cascading around Simon’s conversational, laid-back croon. Guitar riffs shimmer above warm, organic drums and melodic bass.
To coincide with the release of ‘Misfits’, Young And Lost Club are hosting a three-night residency at the Queen Of Hoxton featuring Lunar Youth and a Young and Lost Club co- curated line up of peers and label mates.
