Mewbox 1.3 in 1

It’s about time. This has taken us a while, Christmas, confusion, cranberry sauce and all that. Families. Especially the families. You understand. You’ve been doing it too.
Anyway, we’re here now. As of today, Mewbox is available on the Android Market.
That’s the father. As for the son… we are also releasing version 1.3 today.
We’ve added the track previews you’ve been asking for. And the ghosts, well, we’ve hunted most of them down, so all the obvious bugs you reprted are gone. Might still be the odd one around, so let us know if you see one.
Anyway, thanks for your patience and your help. We wouldn’t have got here without you, so we’ll give you a few more details. We’ve debugged a few things that looked a lot worse than they were, mainly error messages. Almost everything was a scaling problem, and starting off with Archos’ vast 800×480 screen meant that making things perfect for your average Android phone was a little tricky. But we think we’ve got there now. If we’ve missed anything, let us know, and we’ll fix it. We’re good like that.
To recap, what’s changed is:
Mewbox is now on the Android Market
We’ve given you the track previews you wanted
The error messages have been resized so that you will never again be stuck after kindly reporting a fault to us
The search page interface has been improved so you don’t get blanked by a blank
We’ve clarified the process if you drop connection whilst downloading
We’ve added more information attached to any (obviously rare!) error messages
We’re moving on with the sign in process (that still needs a little work), and are also looking at the feature page interface for the Vanilla Application to give you a little more room on the screen to play with. Hopefully those few bits aren’t to far away. Until then, enjoy the improvments.
Cheers!
