Tiffany Page – ‘Walk Away Slow’ (Hostage Rmxs)

Rock chick darling Tiffany Page is currently touring the UK in preparation for the release of her debut single ‘Walk Away Slow’, date is yet to be announced though. Having started on her album last summer she has been hopping between L.A and London to record it. An early starter, she got her first guitar when she was fourteen and it seems has never looked back. Citing Hole as an influence on, if not the starting point of her teenage angst the single is true to it’s genre, Ms Page has a provocative and teasing voice and sits well wih the dirty resonant, American guitar.

Though she does seem to a softer note to her, the track ‘On Your Head’ starts as a deep, blues affair and then, oddly enough, progresses to pop-rock. On another note, dubstep luminary Hostage has produceded to couple of ‘Walk Away Slow’, his personal renditions of the track we have for you. The warbling bassline and high piched, alternating synths compliment her vocal well on the first track, the second, 2Beats, is a filthier and faster track. Itchier and bounding in it’s bass it’s my favorite of the two but in true dubstep tradition they are both wobbly bangers. Stoosh.
